Most of the Hawk lenses are available as Vintage'74 versions. Hawk VāLite 2x anamorphic lenses and the Red Monstro VistaVision 8K sensor recently combined for but I liked the combination of Hawk VāLites and the Red Monstro. So we shot 8K 5x6 on the big VistaVision-gauge sensor and reframed to 2:1, resulting in 4.3K resolution.
It was part digital, and part film: 500 ASA pushed 1/2 stop. We used the Hawk V-Lite Vintage '74 anamorphic lenses from Vantage in Paris. Those vintage lenses were very interesting and gave us quite a lot of effects with flares, especially from the highlights and small light bulbs.
